UB Educational Advisor for McMinnville High School 

As a first-generation student and the eldest of my siblings I had to navigate and figure everything on my own. Having to figureout what to do after high school is a very tough situation and can also be scary but because I had programs to support me, I am now the first to graduate with my bachelor's degree . I ampassionate about helping students who might have the same struggles that I encountered as a person of color and as a first-generation student. I want to be the support that students need and help guide their future. . I believe that students can choose what path they want regardless of their background and having at least one staff/teacher who will help and support them is all it takes to make a change. I know life can be tough and there will be struggles but you can accomplish anything you set your mind to so dream big and go for it, que si se puede. I’m happy to be part of the TRiO Upward Bound program in McMinnville High School and be the support to all of my students and parents so feel free to reach out!
