The TRiO SSS Summer Bridge Program helps incoming first-year and transfer students transition to OSU. This free program lasts about a week and takes place just before the start of fall term. This year the Summer Bridge program will run September 11-15, 2017 for First Year Students, and September 14-15, 2017 for transfer students. During Summer Bridge, students living in the residence halls during the 2017-2018 academic year will be allowed to check in early and eat in campus dining halls at no charge. Activities include workshops, panels, tours, games, trips and exercises all developed to prepare students for academic success at OSU.
Incoming TRiO SSS students starting fall term must participate in the Summer Bridge Program and enroll in either the 1st Year Student Success Course (ALS 109) or the Transfer Transitions Course (UEXP 399) during Fall term. Students will receive 2 credits tuition free.
If you would like more information about participating in the TRiO SSS Summer Bridge Program please contact any of the TRiO academic counselors.
