The TRiO Student Support Services Tutoring Center mission is to enhance the academic experience by teaching students to identify and work toward realistic academic goals, become independent learners and improve academic performance.
To request tutoring services, complete the online tutor request form.
Some of the most common subjects we provide tutors for include:
Tutoring services are free for all SSS participants. Sessions take place in Waldo 301 (SSS Informal Learning Space) as well as Waldo 326 (Learning Center). These sessions are primarily conducted on a one-on-one basis, although group tutoring is also an option. After you request a tutor, one of the tutors will contact you to arrange a tutoring schedule that is convenient for both of you.
Walk-in tutoring is also available, and the days, times, and subjects for walk-in tutoring change every term. Use the following links for the most current TRiO SSS walk-in tutor schedule, as well as the most current tutoring course list:
Misterm study sessions are offered for several classes for students who would like to study as a group. Schedule can be found here:
Free tutoring is also available through the EOP Tutoring Program.
